TRS takes HRC by storm!

Were you there? If not, you at least got to see it streaming. Right? Riiiiight? I hope so! But, if you missed it --for a perfectly legitimate reason I'm sure-- well, you can watch some of it right here!! Unfortunately due to technical, hrm, "oddities" these do not do them justice as to how they really sound live. Which is awesome, of course. And, sadly, the first 3 songs the played (Kingdom, Hypnotize, Ship of Fools) as far as I can find were not recorded. Boo! One of my booty-shaking favorites, Ship of Fools, isn't here but I'll keep looking and update if I stumble across it. Please excuse the ill-timed ads. There's nothing I can do about that.

TRS at the Hard Rock Cafe, Sat. April 30th!

Good news, everyone!

TRS is playing the Rock Over Broadway series this Saturday night in downtown Nashville. ( See:http://www.facebook.com/rock.over.broadway ) . Four bands and several hours of rock awesomeness will ensue.

We've got a lot of new songs we've been working on and we'll be playing a large portion of that new material at this show. The things we've been in the studio diligently hammering away at during the recording process are coming to the stage finally.

We're really excited about this show, and we'll be looking for a good turnout from everyone in the area because 1) It's a Saturday night so you're not working the next morning anyway. B) It's only $10, which is the price of a cocktail + tip at most bars anyway. Live music is worth more than one cocktail, sheesh. III) Being at the Hard Rock's Reverb Room venue, the show is all ages (under 18 must be with an adult though), so bring the family. And most importantly -

NEW MUSIC FROM THE REDDING SHIFT!!!

Also, if you can't make it out (abducted by Xenu, etc), the show will be streamed live at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/rock-over-broadway and in addition, all the bands playing that night will be interviewed that afternoon and the interviews will be aired on this stream as well.

The Redding Shift Journeys Toward Fulfilling Musical Destiny

Nashville-based rock band The Redding Shift has yet to release a follow-up to 2009’s Where Did All The Virgins Go, but that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t still be on local music buffs’ radar. The four-piece ensemble fuses together elements of rock, blues, soul, metal and country to make their own brand of take no prisoners, full-throttle, amped-up rock and roll, which manages to carve out its own musical niche somewhere between The Black Keys and Soundgarden...

TRS Battle of the Bands 11/29 @ The Muse In Nashville = SRS BZNESS!

Alright, here's the deal. If you're even a little interested in helping myself, Mike and/or Abby out in our endeavors to make a living in music and you're going to be in/around Nashville at the end of November, this show is the one absolute must.

We're doing this as a showcase / battle of the bands, with a handful of other bands around the area. And it's for a booking agency that books nation-wide. If we bring a lot of supporters out for The Redding Shift, we get a good chance to work with these guys coast to coast.

But we can't do it without your support.

The show is Sunday November 29th, that's the end of this month. It's the Sunday after Thanksgiving, so you're not going to be doing anything that Sunday evening anyway. Come out and support The Redding Shift, and see some awesome live music.

Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door - but you really really really (did I mention really?) want to get them from us in advance. Because they're special tickets that say The Redding Shift on them. And that's just extra niftycool.

The venue is
The Muse in Nashville, just off of I-40 by 4th Ave, so it's easy to get to. So take this chance to finally get around to coming out to a TRS show like you've been meaning to. This one will earn you extra credit.  There will be a lot of great acts performing that day, so it'll be well worth the $8. (Just be sure to make the most noise when TRS performs).

Contact any of we three band mates or
email to find out how to get a ticket in advance. If you're around Nashville, it may even be hand delivered. We're that serious about getting people out to this show. To top it off, we just finished some studio work, and we'll probably toss in a 3 track promo CD with the purchase of a ticket, so you're also getting some totally crunk-awesome TRS yumminess to take home with you, in addition to the given that is the TRS kickass live performance.

Get to it!
